A new year, a new project!

Have you seen THIS yet?  It's the Project 365 kit of the month, created by Becky Higgins.  It looks really cool and I'm excited try it.  Although it's not digital and I may have been heard saying "I'm going digital!", I am going to try this. How easy will it be to just slip in  7 pictures a week with a little journaling in between and have a book DONE at the end of the year!  It will really show a little bit of daily life around here!  Since it's a week at at time I started taking photos on Sunday even though I don't have the kit just yet.  I'll try to add photos later...it's not wanting to let me right now.

Little People

One of my very favorite little people turned 18 months! He's the boy of many expressions and was so much fun...as always.

He took along a couple of his cousins, too, to join in on the fun.

This one cracked me up because he was replanting the dandelions.The next day I got to take pictures of this little Cover Girl! Oh my...I wonder if those 3 cousins will be fighting over her some day!

I could go on and on but I'll stop for now!

Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Although the rain did not go away we still had a good time taking this cute little families photos!. We were a little cold but everyone did great and we got some fun shots! Thanks, you guys!

Not just another family

These two almost made me reconsider why I'm doing this for others! But she's one of our very favorite people so how could we say no, right?!? They all did behave nicely when they had to....for the most part.

Newborn Baby

Baby D was only 9 days old when I took these. It was fun to photograph a new born but he sure didn't act like one! He was so squirmy and wiggly it made it rather challenging. It was good for me to brush up on photographing a newborn, that's for sure! :)

Thank You and a FREEBIE!

First of all, THANK YOU to those of you who offered suggestions for my little project. I ended up going to Treasury of Memories and having Lisa help me. (yeah for Lisa working at Treasury!!) I had the hardest time figuring out something age appropriate so I just put a great big "I {heart} soccer" on the photo along with the year, mounted it on 6x6 black card stock and stapled some ribbon on. Then on the back I wrote a little note to each of the girls along with Philippians 3:14 (Thanks, Angela!) They can either set it on their shelf (next to the trophy they won!!!) or it would make a great cover to a little 6x6 scrapbook from this season.

Now for the fun....a FREEBIE!!! While my last freebie wasn't to exciting, it helped me try to figure out the 4Shared site. So, here is my first official template freebie since a few of you asked! I need HELP!

I'm trying to come up with a little something to give to the girls on my soccer teams (4th/5th graders and 1st/2nd graders). I would like to put a quote in the corner of this photo and possibly put it in a frame or on a canvas. I've got a few creatively brained friends thinking for me too but thought I'd see if anyone OUT THERE can come up with something as well. HELP...I need them by Saturday! :)

I had the chance to take photos of this great family yesterday. We had so much fun (at least I did!) and they did great. Willing to try anything...even climbing in an old boat. :) This is just a little sneak peak for them.

Day 3

Absolutely Christmas This is one of my favorites so far and one of the reasons is you can more than one photo on it. If you want to showcase a group of pictures from a vacation or just highlight some favorite memories from the year, this would be a great way to do it.

First of the Season

If I'm counting correctly, Christmas is only 11 weeks away!!! Didn't you all want to know that. You can get one item checked off you list now! Over the next couple weeks I will be releasing new card designs for the holiday season so keep checking back.

The first set is called simply christmas

This first one is simply christmas baby.

It can used as a birth announcement and Christmas card together or the wording can be customized to use as a christmas card only.

The second is called simply christmas family

The third one is simply christmas horizontal

The fourth one is simply christmas squared.

If you find a design that you like just e-mail me and we'll start working on it. All you need to do is e-mail me with your photo(s) and any names/wording you would like included and I will customize it for you. I will have them printed at a high quality printer and get them to you in plenty of time for holiday mailing.

Prices are as follows :

$15.00 for an existing card customized for you.

$25.00 for a card created uniquely for you.

This is the price just for the card design, price of the actual cards is separate and will be posted soon!

Prices valid on all orders placed prior to November 26. After that the fees will go up.

More Day In The Life

Here are a couple more photos from my Day in the Life project. For these photos I used Ali's overlays available at Designer Digitals and also ran a couple actions on them available FREE from Coffeeteaphotography. They work great in Photoshop Elements which is great since a lot of actions out there aren't available for PSE.
