Congratulations are in order!

In about 6 weeks I get to shoot my FIRST wedding!  Thank you, Kim and Dave, for the opportunity. I really am excited (and a little nervous!) :)  We did their engagement shoot on what has been one of the ONLY rainy day in 2 months but they were great sports and we pressed on.  

Kim's adorable son, Davis, joined us as well.  We're praying for a wonderfully sunny September day for the wedding!

Summer fun

This summer has been awesome for taking pictures!  When someone calls and asks to schedule a shoot, we haven't really had to worry about the rain at all, we've had to work around the sun a little bit but not the rain.  This day was no different.  I headed out with my friend, Amy, and her 3 awesome kids in search of some great photos. 

When we went out to take these, it was still waaaay to sunny but we had some fun with the big red truck anyways.  My favorite photo is still sitting on my hard drive hoping it makes it to the Christmas card this year! :)

I  loved, LOVED these puppies and even more LOVED the expression on M's little face....priceless!

Finally!

I'm finally making some time to update this blog and I finally think it's safe to post these.  This awesome family (3 sisters) had their kids pictures taken as a surprise for their parents anniversary.  The kids did so great (and so did the parents, if only I could post some pictures of what was going on behind me as they tried to get the kids to all look and smile).  It was a team effort but I think it paid off!  Stay tuned, many more to come!
