A new hobby...

Not that I need another thing to keep me from real life duties but it sure would make my mother proud! :)
I did take 4-H as a kid and have sewn a thing or two but it has usually been without much willingness to do so, until now! You all know I have a thing for Karlees Kreations and all the goodies over in her Etsy shop. Well, I needed a few of these market totes for gifts and was intrigued by her Market Tote Kit but REALLY did not want to even think about sewing. However, Karlee guaranteed me that it was easy and I could do it. She was right and now I'm hooked. I've made 5 so far (are you impressed, Mom?) and now my wheels are turning! Would it be so bad to hire someone to clean my house so I can play more!?!

Birthday Party!

So, if you aren't hooked on her site yet....now's the time to do it. Jessicasprague.com is turning 1 and there are some major changes ahead (if it wasn't great enough already). She's giving sneak peaks each day on her blog until the big party on June 4. Stay tuned!

Who doesn't love a brown eyed girl!

I got to hang out with Kali and her mom, Amy, yesterday. Isn't she adorable? I took a few shots for her third birthday.
Happy Birthday, Kali Faith!
This was my photo for yesterday. Do you remember this post from way back when. Well, I have since ordered a little more from Karlee and asked her if she'd mind making me a bag for my laptop. This is what she came up with! You can find her over at http://www.karleeskreations.com/ should you want to check out her other goodies!
And we worked outside all day today! Thought I'd take a photo of this little guy for my photo for today.

Photo A Day in May

Over at JessicaSprague.com we're doing a Photo A Day in May. So this was my photo for May 1, it's the boys busily looking for potato bugs!

I also just finished up my Digi: In Deep class which was awesome and highly recommended!!! I haven't quite completed all the tasks but have gotten a long ways. We created templates for others to download and this is a template created by Liv that I snagged, I just thought it worked well with this photo that my dad took of the boys at the park.

This was our layout for week 4. Once again, I did not keep the credits organized for this one and don't have them readily available. Will have to compile them.
